POW/MIA

All those who fought and served their country when they received the call, were men and women of courage, judgment, integrity and dedication. Where does dedication end? You can never put an end to dedication. After all, those who remain Prisoners of War or are still Missing in Action are still serving with never ending dedication. For them, it can never be over. For us, we can never let their sacrifices, or them, be forgotten.

News:
The Prisoner of War and Missing in Action Museum has named Salina, KS a POW-MIA city.

Salina is one of 40 plus communities in four states to be given the destination.

A member of the POW-MIA Museum explained what exactly that means.

"It means that the city is committed to remembering and memorializing both the service member and their family. And they do that by flying the flag where the city flag or the U.S. colors are flown. And to have a highway entrance sign and to have at least one memorial event a year.”
